Christmas 2024 Newsletter
As we all get busier in the lead up to Christmas, we want to take a moment to pause and say thank you for all your support in 2024. It has been a fantastic and very busy year. Here are some highlights... We have had a change of CEO, and welcomed Lynette on board in August where she hit the ground running. Lynne Lewis celebrated 20 years with Franklin Hospice - an incredible achievement. Caitlin our new nurse started in July, and Janina came on board in September providing admin support on the business and clinical side of things. Our fundraisers this year have all been super successful, and have included a quiz night, various expos, our inaugural High Tea, the United Against Cancer Fundraiser, Good in the Hood with Z, Golf Day and, of course, the Garden Ramble. We are in the middle of our Trees of Remembrance campaign, where you will find our fab volunteers sitting at Pak n Save, taking donations to hang a bauble and message to a loved one on the Christmas Tree. Farmers is also running the Tress of Remembrance and Bauble campaign for which we are extremely grateful. If you haven't managed to get to a spot where there is a Franklin Hospice Tree, please feel free to donate to our Trees Campaign using the button below. (You will be able to leave a message on the site as well.) We are so pleased that you are a Franklin Hospice supporter. From all of us here at Franklin Hospice, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Lynette, Alison, Maria, Sharon, Karena, Linda, Sooz, Janina, Jude, Rachael, Jackie, Helen, Caitlin, Jo, Lynne, Maree and Kirsty. |
